freelance quantity surveyor - energy & infrastructure

we’re seeking an experienced quantity surveyor (freelance/contract) to support the delivery of high-voltage transmission and distribution projects. this is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to complex energy infrastructure work on a flexible basis.

what you’ll do:

  * 

    take the lead on commercial management across projects.

  * 

    oversee budgets, cashflow, reporting, and subcontractor payments.

  * 

    drive contract administration under nec (options a & e).

  * 

    lead negotiations with clients and supply chain partners.

what we’re looking for:

  * 

    proven track record as an sqs in contracting, ideally within energy, utilities, or infrastructure.

  * 

    strong nec expertise (especially options a & e).

  * 

    excellent financial control and communication skills.

  * 

    ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
