Job Description: We are a recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor specializing in civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage operative. Job Details: Role: drainage operative/ Gang Start Date: Asap Project Duration: until summer/autumn 2026 Hours: 8- 10 hours a day, 5 days a week Pay Rate: £21.76- £24.39 Project: Substation Key Responsibilities: •Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems, including pipes, culverts, and other related infrastructure. •Conduct regular inspections and assessments of drainage systems to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions. •Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment. •Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. •Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met. •Complete necessary documentation and reports, including work records, inspection reports, and risk assessments. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience as a Drainage Operative. Proficiency in operating and maintaining drainage equipment and tools. Valid CSCS card Confined space certification Strong understanding of health and safety practices and procedures.
