A leader in the provision of fire protection services and works within hospitals is looking for experienced fire door carpenters to join their team. You will be working on large mental health hospital projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be mostly within Edinburgh and surrounding areas, with frequent travels to sites outside of Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will have:

  * At least two year’s experience working with fire doors

  * A strong background in carpentry and joinery

  * Excellent technical knowledge of fire door compliance

  * NVQ or equivalent in carpentry

  * Experience installing fire doors and frames

  * Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames

  * Experience working on social housing FRA contracts
