Before I start talking about why cradles are such a good access solution, can we just appreciate this setup?

Looking down into this elevation and seeing the cradle sat perfectly in place really puts the scale of the building into perspective. What most people see as a platform hanging from a roof, we see as weeks of planning, surveys, calculations and coordination all coming together.

The second photo shows what's happening behind the scenes. Every rig has to be carefully positioned and installed to suit the building, taking into account loadings, access requirements and, most importantly, the safety of the operatives using it.

The third photo is where it all comes together. Seeing the cradle suspended against the façade gives a real appreciation of the scale of the building and highlights exactly why this type of access solution is so effective for high-rise projects.

You will be working on low pitched roofing, Corrugated lean-to roof and trusses.

Roofer Requirements:

  * A Valid CSCS Card

  * A Full Clean UK Driving Licence.

  * A Valid Asbestos Awareness, Working at Heights and Manual Handling Certificate.

  * 2-3 years’ experience as a Roofer (on Social Housing Contracts/Repairs settings).
