  1. Introduction

1.1. Fixed Construction Limited ("the Company") recognizes its legal responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and is committed to ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of its employees, temporary workers, and all others affected by its activities. The Company also acknowledges the importance of mental health and fatigue management in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

1.2. The key objectives of Fixed Construction Limited are to:

1.2.1. Provide and maintain safe working environments that do not pose risks to health and safety.

1.2.2. Comply with all relevant statutory requirements concerning health, safety, and the environment to protect employees, customers, contractors, and the public.

1.2.3. Safeguard employees and others from foreseeable hazards in existing processes and working systems.

1.2.4. Ensure adequate guidance, instruction, and supervision are provided for safe methods of work, especially when introducing new substances, plant, machinery, equipment, processes, or premises.

1.2.5. Foster awareness of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities among all employees.

1.2.6. Encourage commitment and active involvement from all staff to promote safety awareness and maintain continuous efforts to improve safety performance.

1.2.7. Inform contractors of relevant standards, provide necessary training in procedures, and monitor compliance to ensure safety requirements are met.

1.2.8. Prioritize the promotion of good health and preventive measures for occupational and non-occupational disorders and diseases through health counseling and education.

1.2.9. Cooperate with appropriate authorities and technical organizations to update policies and contribute to formulating safety standards and compliance measures.

1.2.10. Maintain effective safety committees to review health and safety measures.

1.2.11. Regularly audit health and safety activities both internally and by engaging external consultants to ensure objectives are being met.

  1. General Health, Safety, Mental Health, and Fatigue Management

2.1. The Director, Henryk Jakubiak, holds overall responsibility for health, safety, mental health, and fatigue management within Fixed Construction Limited. He also assumes the day-to-day management of health and safety matters.

2.2. The Management of Fixed Construction Limited is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of health, safety, mental well-being, and fatigue management throughout the organization.

2.3. Copies of this comprehensive policy will be made available to all employees and other interested parties.

  1. Directors' Duties

3.1. All Directors of Fixed Construction Limited are required to have at least a basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, along with its associated Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice.

3.2. The Directors will actively communicate and ensure that all employees are aware of their individual responsibilities regarding health, safety, mental health, and fatigue management.

  1. Designated Health & Safety Person's Duties

4.1. The designated Health & Safety person will be responsible for ensuring that all Company Directors, Supervisors, and Staff are aware of their specific health, safety, mental health, and fatigue management responsibilities.

4.2. This person will initiate and recommend changes, developments, and amendments to the policy as and when necessary to improve health, safety, mental health, and fatigue management practices.

4.3. Promoting an interest and responsible attitude towards health, safety, mental well-being, and fatigue management matters will be a key focus for the designated Health & Safety person throughout the Company.

  1. Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or whenever there are changes in work practices, circumstances, or the introduction of new legislation to ensure its continued effectiveness and relevance.
